I am dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. I pride myself in getting to know each client so that I can understand their individual needs and what matters most to them. This helps me to recommend strategies designed to meet their current, and more importantly, future needs.
My role at Grace Lane is to provide support in making sure our clients’ playbooks are executed timely, while developing my knowledge and experience as a life-centered financial planner. I am here because the Grace Lane service offering resonates with me as I consider the vision that I have for my own practice.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. Following that, I began working at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and worked in various capacities for 20 years. I was an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for three years, before being named Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach in 2006. I served in that capacity for 15 years. In 2005, I became the Assistant Athletic Director and worked in that role for nine years before being hired as the Director of Athletics and Physical Education, a position I held for nine years. Early in my career, I spent three years teaching Algebra I. On St. Andrew’s Day in 2022, I was presented with the Lucy Collins Nazro Faculty Service Award. At the conclusion of my career at St. Andrew’s, I was incredibly humbled to have the Athlete Award, given at graduation, named in my honor.
In 2018, I was elected by my peer Athletic Directors in the esteemed Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) to serve as the President of the SPC ADs. I worked in that position for five years and helped guide the Conference through a complex conference realignment, as well as helped to navigate the COVID pandemic.
Prior to joining Grace Lane, I have been developing my practice as a sole practitioner, contracted through Capital Strategies, and was recognized by them as their 2024 Rookie of the Year. I have been married to my wife Melissa since 2006, and we reside in Buda with our two wonderful sons, Houston and Barrett.
